Materials List
The supply list is intended as a guideline - shop around for the things and colors you love. REMEMBER: We are walking some, you are carrying all!

Carrying bag or back pack
Wide-mouth plastic containers (2)
Quart container of water (half gallon better)
Towel, blanket or chair to sit on
Easel
Plastic palette or plate to mix paint
Brush
- a number 12 round that points is the most versatile if you are relying on one brush - otherwise your choice.
(to test how a brush points, put it in water at the store to see if all the hairs come together)

Paper
Small newsprint or other economical sketch pad
Watercolor paper
look for something in your price range that is acid free or all rag (D'Arches is worth the investment)
Check out watercolor blocks, very useful on location.
You may want to have 2 surfaces prepared to work on during the session-i.e. 2 stretched pieces of paper, 2 watercolor blocks or pads.
